Michelin-star fine dining and networking

We started Luxe Lunches in 2018, over 14 months ago as we wanted to connect ladies in our network over great food.

Each lunch that we planned at fabulous restaurants in Mayfair and Knightsbridge brought together more and more exceptional ladies who became friends, and some have gone further and collaborated in business ideas.

But something was missing.

Exceptional ladies yet the restaurants we selected were chic but just “nice”.

We want only the very best for our elegant ladies. Which is why we are moving to Michelin-star restaurants in 2020 to bring fine dining restaurants to those who also adore luxury dining.

Our first lunch of 2020 begins at Seven Park Place by William Drabble, situated at the five star St James’s Hotel and Club, behind the Ritz Hotel.

Date: Wednesday 15 January 2020

Time: 13.00

We are thrilled to welcome our ladies to this luxury experience and an elegant way to connect with others from our network.

Ladies who lunch: cocktails and conversations

After experiencing a number of awkward networking events where business cards were shoved into your hands seconds after introductions, I felt things needed to change.

There must be networking events in London which connected professionals in a more informal, relaxed manner. So I started searching. And searching.

Until it dawned on me: why don’t I organise my own event which also incorporated my love of dining.

Luxe Lunches was formed in 2018 and almost a year later we celebrate our anniversary in September with a luxury ladies lunch at Sette, the newly opened New York restaurant now housed at the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge.

Cocktails, conversations and fabulous cuisine! Save the date: Tuesday 17 September at 13.00

Connecting and networking: working lunches

In the 80s and some of the 90s, most deals were struck over three/four hour lunches at chic establishments in the City and Mayfair.

Following the banking crisis in the late 90s, long working lunches were mostly frowned upon and replaced by Pret sandwiches to go.

Fast forward to 2018, Luxe Lunches brings back the Michelin-star lunches to ladies keen to connect and network within two hours.

With introductions made over a chilled glass of champagne (or non-alcoholic cocktail) followed by exquisite three courses of fine dining, our ladies waste no time swapping business cards, making connections on Linked In and talking about ideas to collaborate and support each other!

The popularity of the lunches, hosted by ex/banker turned entrepreneur Salima Manji have lead to these monthly lunches being hosted by Salima on a weekly basis starting from January 2019.

With restaurants in Mayfair including Theo Randall and Ormer Mayfair, is there any surprise these lunches are being booked up so quickly?
